Supply Chain Planner - Homebased
Opportunity:
Are you currently working as a Supply Chain Planner? Do you have good Kinaxis Rapid Response experience? Looking for a role to be based working from home? Looking for your next contract? If yes then this is the role for you.
My client a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner on a 12 months contract. You will be working from home to help complete the initial set-up, configuration and testing of Rapid Response Planning tool for a specific manufacturing site/supply chain.
You will then support and enable the Network Planners to work with Rapid Response post implementation and leverage the planning process and tool to effectively manage and support the following planning activities:
* Formulating and communicating short to mid-term tactical plans that balance supply & demand.
* Proactively managing the supply chain risks e.g. low cover and escalate issues where appropriate.
* Aligning transfer orders to demand and sending to ERP &/or local shipping system for execution.
* Applying scenario planning & collaboration, leveraging Rapid Response functionality and tools.
* Preparing for OPLAN review with key stakeholders e.g. Plant Management.
* Supporting the Network Manager with regional and/or Global SI&OP input.
* Providing input into Financial Planning and Forecasting processes.
This is a an approx. 12 months contract which the client will review for a possible extension however everything is dependent on the individual and business performance. The role is home based. The hourly PAYE rate is GBP19.61 and Limited Company rate is GBP21.74.
Skills:

* Kinaxis Rapid Response experience.
* Bachelor's degree in Business/Supply Chain/Logistics Management (preferred).
* APICS CPIM or CSCP certification highly desirable.
