We're hiring for an Electrical/Electronics Maintenance Engineer to join a large specialised engineering manufacturer based in Buxton to help install, maintain and repair a wide variety of machinery equipment.
Located in the scenic High Peak and operating for more than 50 years, this reputable manufacturer has 10 production sites around the world and manufactures more than 3 million components per week. Due to continued success, they required an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to assist with producing a range of components.
What's on offer?
* GBP35,000 per annum
* GBP1.3K additional call out retainer
* Two rotating shifts:
* 6am - 2pm
* 2pm - 10pm
* Call out operating on nights and weekends
What will you be doing as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer?
* Installing, maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery equipment including CNC machines & toolroom equipment, moulding machines and hydraulic presses (100Tonne +)
* Electronic repair and fault-finding down to component level (CCI boards)
* Tracing large test boards for broken PCB tracks
* Using scope for fault-finding in both analogue and digital circuits
* Mechanical fault find, maintenance & repair including hydraulics and pneumatics, pumps, compressors
* 3-phase electrical fault find, maintenance & repair
* Working on Plc's Siemens, Fanuc, Mazatrol, Mazak - fault-finding on field wiring
What do you need?
* Minimum of ONC Electrical or Electronic Engineering
* Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Electro/technical Engineering
* 17th Edition Wiring Regs
* 2394 inspection & testing
* Fault-finding on Boilers, Air conditioning, AHU's, CCTV, Security systems and more
* Knowledge of thermionic valves - high-voltage Radyne induction heaters
* Awareness of EMC/EMF principles
* Experience of SMT PCB repair would be useful
