A client of mine in Newbury is looking to recruit a Surveyor/Property Manager on a 4-month initial contract. The position as a Surveyor/Property Manager will be to provide the entire maintenance service including the direct delivery of repairs through a team of multi-skilled trades persons. You will be accountable for business delivery and performance management of the patch. The role will be focusing on resolving complaints.
What you will do:
Own the day to day delivery on the patch (on the patch 80% time)
Responsible for management, coaching & development of up to 8 trades, including performance management
Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance repairs are effectively managed, compliant and undertaken in accordance with the company's policies and guidance
Responsible for ensuring performance targets are achieved, demonstrating drive and energy
Responsible for the delivery of stock condition and other related surveys
Responsibility for stock condition, fire safety actions and other customer/property surveys as required, and deliver any actions following surveys
Your experience will include:
Previous experience within the residential sector
Ideally educated to a degree level
Dealing with complaints and resolving them to a high standard
Managing multiple trades people within maintenance
