Management Accountant - 12 months FTC

We are working exclusively with a client of ours based in Newton Aycliffe to appoint a Management Accountant to join their small but dynamic team initially on a 12-month fixed term contract.

My client is a leading manufacturing business and need someone who is happy operating in a autonomous and accountable management accountant role.

Location: Newton Aycliffe
Salary: Negotiable based on experience (My client is keen to attract real talent to the business and has confirmed within reason salary isn't an option)
Shift / Working Hours: Full time, office hours, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

Full management of the accounts, including the mentoring of 1 member of staff

Preparation of monthly management accounts - profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow

Preparation of commentary for the monthly consolidated results

Weekly sales reporting

Preparation of VAT returns

Involvement in budgeting and cash flow forecasting

Operating in a multicurrency environment

Requirements:

* AAT or CIMA Part or full qualified

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

* Strong systems & process skills, implementation of best practice
