Salary: GBP35,500 + Pension + Overtime

The Company

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the world's leading specialist packaging and container manufacturers, who are extremely well established and turns over in excess of GBP50 million . The group currently employs over 250 people in several locations Europe wide and once again is growing due to an increased market presence.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience of Fault Finding on PLC Automated Systems.
• Working Knowledge of Packaging Machinery.

The Role

You will possess a minimum of an apprenticeship in electrical engineering, with a strong Multi-Skilled pedigree along with experience of high speed machinery ideally from within the packaging industry.

The successful candidate will also have experience of automated machinery along with a good understanding of PLC controlled equipment (Mitsubishi and Siemens) and of inverters and drives from within a manufacturing environment with the ability to fault find and resolve issues in the plant with the least amount of supervision.

As part of the maintenance function you will be actively encouraged to get involved with process improvement initiatives along with planned and preventative maintenance ensuring maximum output and the least amount of disruption to production.

The role is based over a 3 shift pattern Monday to Friday with a very competitive package and the opportunity to progress as your ambition dictates.
