Class 1 HGV Driver, Burton-On-Trent , GBP13.50 - GBP17.00
StaffCo Direct are recruiting Skilled Class 1 HGV drivers for our industry leading client in Burton-Upon-Trent.
Being a Class 1 driver for our client; you will be working Monday - Friday with a flexible start time between the hours of 02:00am - 07:00am.
A typical day will see you having a couple of drops & collections, very little if any handballing will be required. You must be able to strap loads correctly & demonstrate your experience efficiently.
What we offer:
- Hourly Rate: Days GBP13.50
- Hourly Rate: Nights GBP15.00 & GBP17.00 on Sunday.
- The role can be any working pattern to suit you including weekend work available.
- Average shift length: 8 hours - 10 hours
What we are looking for:
- Valid HGV C+E Licence held for minimum 2 year
- Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
- Excellent level or English
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- Hardworking
- Good Timekeeping
- Customer care focused
- Well presented
- Physically fit
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous upon application of this role.
