An established Life Science company has an interesting opportunity for a Senior Service Engineer based in Cambridgeshire.
The Senior Service Engineer job in Cambridge, will be responsible for all aspects of field service support and customer relationship management and will include installation, repairs, preventative maintenance, and instrument qualifications.
The Senior Service Engineer, Cambridge, will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is working at its highest possible quality level and is satisfying customer requirements, developing and improving all processes and procedures that directly impact service resolution and responsiveness, along with being responsible for equipment installation and equipment repair efficiency, preventive maintenance compliance, field resolution and system upgrades.
The successful candidate for the Senior Service Engineer job in Cambridge will ideally have a HND or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science or related field preferred and have 5+ years hands-on experience as a Service Engineer, particularly working with laboratory instrumentation. Working knowledge of electronics, optics, fluidics, pneumatics and control systems is required.
Please note that this role will require travel across the UK and Globally.
