The Role

The C# .NET Software Developer / Engineer / Programmer will be a key member of the Development Team, involved in all stages of the software lifecycle and contributing to the specification, design, implementation, testing and support of a wide range of technical projects. Main duties of the C# .NET Software Developer / Engineer / Programmer include:

• Developing small and large scale C# applications (mostly WPF, some UWP)
• Designing and implementing GUIs
• Writing underlying class objects and libraries for data acquisition, interfaces to external systems and data manipulation
• Maintaining and supporting the current code base

The successful C# .NET Software Developer / Engineer / Programmer will have strong analytical and problem solving abilities and be able to work using their own initiative within the team, sharing responsibility for organising, managing and delivering to deadlines. A flexible approach to working and being comfortable with multitasking is expected.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of C# .NET Software Developer / Engineer / Programmer will have:

• A strong programming background with at least 2 years of commercial experience
• Experience developing desktop applications using either WPF or UWP
• Experience of using the .NET Framework
• Familiarity with the Visual Studio programming environment
• An enthusiasm to expand their skills and capabilities

An application would be further supported by degree level (or higher) education in a scientific, mathematical or engineering discipline, experience of C / C++, MFC, Linux and mobile platform development.
