Production Manager
Stoke-on-Trent
GBP45,000 per annum + Holidays + Bank Holidays
Week 1: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00. Week 2: Monday to Thursday 20:00 to 04:00
Production manager sought within a Stoke-on-Trent based manufacturing company offering job security and longevity to the successful candidate.
The role will be suited to an experienced production manager ideally from the automotive manufacturing industry however all manufacturing backgrounds will be considered. You must be used to working within a KPI based environment and be reactive/adaptable to work to continually changing production schedules. Applicants will ideally transfer from a LEAN manufacturing backgrounds. Production Managers with Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent will have a considerable advantage.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be the lead on site for all Production activities. You will coordinate and oversee the daily production activities of a team of 75-80 production operatives. The role will carry responsibility for all KPI's, policing of and adherence to all H&S policies and procedures and adapting schedules where necessary. You will play a key role in evolving production processes to improve operational efficiency across the board.

The Role:
*Production Management of 75-80 operatives within a high-volume production environment
*Responsibility for rolling out, ensuring adherence to, and policing all H&S policies and procedures.
*Work with regular production process changes and on improving production procedures to improve on the efficiencies
*Week 1: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00. Week 2: Monday to Thursday 20:00 to 04:00
The Person:
*Must have previous experience as a Production Manager
*Automotive manufacturing experience ideal, all manufacturing backgrounds will be considered
*Exposure to Lean Manufacturing Techniques; 5S and Six Sigma
