Do you have a passion to support SEN pupils?
TeacherActive are currently looking for experienced Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with challenging behaviour in a fantastic Secondary School based in Dudley. Prior experience working with pupils in a school setting is required.
The role will be to support pupils displaying challenging behaviour inside and outside of the classroom with intervention techniques. You will be required to support the class teacher and have a flexibility to provide support across both KS3 and KS4 within the school.
You will be mentoring the pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to ensure they receive the support needed to guide them to academic and personal success.
The ideal candidate has:
Experience managing with challenging behaviour (at least 6 months)
Experience in a school
Relevant degree, preferable
Live local to Dudley or be willing to commute
