We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Production Planner to be responsible for the time management of our manufacturing resources, scheduling the production of parts in alignment with our core activities - could this be you? Do you want to be an integral part of a growing company? Interested?
Thermal Issues is a small manufacturing company based in Market Harborough, supplying clients across a wide range of industries including Telecomms, Aerospace, Automotive, Lighting and Power Supplies with components of thermal management and electrical isolation.
You will be someone who is looking for a role where you can develop and progress alongside a young company. You will be capable of planning long term as well as responding at short notice to customer demands.
The main responsibilities for the Production Planner will include:
- Production Scheduling - in alignment with our core activities of production of isolating parts and components made from RF absorption materials
- Procurement - of raw materials from existing suppliers
- Time management - of manufacturing resources and allocation of materials.
The successful Production Planner will have:
- Experience of working with manufactured parts
- A background in manufacturing in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of scheduling work and understanding of working to time scales.
- Ideally experience of production planning software.
- Proven experience in ideally an Automotive and/or Aerospace environment possibly as a tier 2 or tier 3 supplier is desirable.
You may have a background of the following Production Planning, Production Controller, Production control supervisor, Production Manager, Production Scheduler, Tool Production Planner, Planner, Production Planning Assistant, etc.
