Our client, the world's largest manufacturer of medical devices and software for treating cancer and other medical conditions with radiotherapy, radiosurgery, proton solutions and brachytherapy are looking for a Field Service Engineer (Test Systems) to join their team in Halton, Cheshire.

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

?? Perform system, assembly, and component level testing following documented processes.

?? Document components assemblies or systems test results.

?? Troubleshoot discrepancies that occur during test.

?? Repair/reject material that is defective.

?? Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures relevant to the task being performed.

?? Become capable of testing different components, assemblies, and or systems.

?? Work to meet the scheduled delivery of components, assemblies, or systems.

?? Communicate any issues to the leadership team

?? Maintain a safe and productive work environment.

?? Adhere to safe work practices and alert responsible parties of observed hazards.

The role is based in Halton for the next 18 months then the role could return to the Crawley site (near Gatwick). Accommodation is provided if required near the site in Halton and the role involves shift work (Hours of Work - 8:00 a.m. to 20:00 pm Mon to Sat then 6 days off. No work Sundays)

Field Service Engineer (Test Systems) Requirements:

?? Associates Degree or equivalent test related experience.

?? Electronics and mechanical skills

?? Strong team skills and facilitation skills

?? Problem solving and decision-making skills

?? Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: Email, Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

?? Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

?? Willingness and flexibility for shift working pattern environment and weekend work

?? Able to start at the latest by the 19th October
