Cross Resourcing are partnering with a growing global organisation to the West of Edinburgh to recruit a HR Manager to join their team at this exciting time.
This is a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join and lead the team to provide a 1st class HR Support service to colleagues whilst working closely with the Director of HR to implement change.
We are looking to speak to candidates with proven experience in a busy, fast paced environment with extensive ER and Employment Law knowledge.
What you'll do
* Lead a small HR team
* Lead Recruitment for Scotland working with agencies when necessary
* Responsible for the development and reporting of key business metrics
* Implement major change working closely with business stakeholders to ensure strategic goals are met
* Contribute to the development of a collaborative working environment
* Work closely with key business contacts to provide HR support
* Manage the team and general HR support ensuring a first-time resolution
* Challenge and make recommendations to Senior HR leaders to drive new initiatives across the team
* Run HR workshops for business leaders ensuring all policies are adhered to
What you'll need
* A degree or relevant experience in HR in a fast-paced environment
* Solid understanding of business strategy from an HR perspective
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* The ability to work with teams across the business
* Experience of supporting line managers in ER cases
* Strong communication skills both written and oral
* Up to date knowledge of HR and Employment Law
* Ambitious, tenacious and driven
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Effective negotiator
This role will involve some limited travel across the UK and Europe dependant on business needs.
