Senior .Net Developer

I have a client based in central York who are looking for an experienced .NET Developer.

The role will require you to work on industry leading clinical software solutions, which are that good they don't even have or need a sales team!!

This role will require the prospective Developer to take a Lead architecting and defining technical solutions as well as proactively driving improvements in design, process, tooling and strategy.

Essential:

• Extensive experience with C# and the .NET tech stack
• Good understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
• Good understanding of SOLID principles
• Experience with SQL Server including database design, stored procedures and entity framework
• A curiosity for new technologies and techniques and actively keeping yourself up-to-date (some technologies we've introduced recently include RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, GraphQL and FusionAuth)
• Unit testing (NUnit, xUnit, etc)
• IoC containers (AutoFac, Ninject, etc)
• Experience developing/working with APIs (WebAPI and experience with .NET Core a plus)
• Able to read and understand other's code

Desirable:

• Skilled with JavaScript front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Knockout) or strong vanilla JavaScript skills
• ASP.NET MVC
• Experience in creating architectural designs
• Experience implementing CI and CD systems (TFS/VSTS/Azure DevOps a plus)
