A Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer is required for a manufacturer of electrical / electronic products, located in the Salisbury area. Working in a small team, you will ensure that the production is carried out in a quality, cost-effective, efficient manner.
The successful Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer will have an Electrical and Electronics bias. However exposure to mechanical will be advantageous. There is a lot of scope to make this job your own.

Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer Role:
* Developing and implementing new production methods to increase productivity on the production line.
* Ensure the correct skills, tools, jigs and fixtures are made available to fulfil the purpose.
* Build test systems
* Support production process requirements
* Produce and maintain process instruction documentation for all areas of production.
* Support lean activities.
* Supporting the NPD team in design for manufacture of future product releases
Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:
* An Electrical or Electronics Engineering degree will be highly beneficial.
* Experience as a Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer with an Electrical & Electronic bias
* Working experience / basic knowledge on Lean
