Site Reliability Engineer - Dundee
Neogen Recruitment Solutions are partnering with a Software technology house in Dundee. Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer or SRE looking for a new challenge?
In this role they need someone who can build scalable systems, improve their design and operation, using best practices around automation, focusing on making them reliable and efficient, whilst also ensuring production performance and high availability of products and systems which reside in the cloud. You will have responsibility for innovation and operational improvement through the application of software engineering practices to operations
Experience Required:
* Extensive experience in a DevOps / SRE role with experience in deploying and managing large scale production environments in AWS, Azure or GCP
* Docker, Kubernetes and early versions of OpenShift
* Experience with Linux, Shell Scripting, PKI TLS/SSL, Network, firewalls, load balancers and backup
* Orchestration, automation, and configuration management tools - Git, Fabric and Ansible (or Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Helm or related technology)
* CI/CD Tools - Jenkins, Artifactory, Harness, CloudBuild
* Experience developing and debugging code (i.e. one or more of the following: Java, C, C++, .NET, Python, Ruby, Go, Shell, Perl, JavaScript)
