Reporting to the Digital Managing Consultant, we are seeking to appoint a creative, innovative and experienced learning developer to join our Design team. You will support the NA Consulting team to script, storyboard, design and develop professional Learning and Development solutions, mainly digital outputs. Specifically, you will be working to produce e-learning, mobile learning, animations, character design, learner activities and other L&D collateral for our global clients.


Responsibilities include:

1. Design, develop and deliver a wide range of digital content and design materials that includes
e-learning, m-learning, communication videos and animations.


2. Using Learning and Development knowledge can, not only design the content, but also fully understand it enough to reinterpret it to the given audience. Enabling the content to be digested and understood more effectively.


3. Design a range of branded materials and digital solutions which are aligned within our client brand guidelines or our internal brands.


4. Work with a team of likeminded creative individuals and designers to get the best possible outcome to any project


5. Interpret high level requirements from a brief or a client and translate these into great designs by prototyping concepts and working mock-ups to explain an idea.


6. Work in a fast paced environment to strict deadlines.


7. Take a proactive approach to communicating with your line manager, internal colleagues and external clients on a regular basis through all stages of a project using effective planning, organisation and project management techniques.


8. Contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement regarding business processes, keeping abreast of technical developments, evaluating, recommending, and implementing new technologies and graphic ideas where possible.


9. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as determined by the needs of the business which may also include supporting our NA Group Marketing team to develop their marketing collateral.


Essential requirements:
  • Degree qualified (BA preferred)
  • 2+ years' worth of existing experience of working within a design team or within the Learning and Development industry.
  • Understanding of SCORM 1.2, 2004 and have built courses to this specification
  • Have used Articulate Rise, Storyline and/or Adobe Captivate to develop industry standard e-learning courses
  • Very comfortable with using Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Audition and Photoshop
  • A portfolio of previous experience. Examples of work including the likes of: websites, e-learning, infographics, font face design, logos, branding, learning materials, delegate packs, animation and video.
  • Ability to write/create some content as well as developing a finished storyboard into a training course.
  • Great visual design skills and a good understanding of graphics and layout (use of colours, typography, print production and branding guidelines)
  • A passion for graphics design, animation, emerging technologies, and good design practice
  • Very organised with files, version control and cloud based storage solutions
Desirable requirements:
  • Have experience using either: Adapt learning framework or Gomo
  • Adobe After Effects and Animate
  • Knowledge of 3D Max, Solidworks, Alias Design, C4D and able to show examples of the models created.
  • Can demonstrate examples of animations including; explainer videos, software simulations, character animation, walk cycles, visual effects, object physics.
  • High level of English language skills, a good knowledge of proofing and understanding the differences between American and British English. This will be advantageous for the content creation part of the role.
  • Have client facing experience, held meetings with clients to scope projects and to knowledge transfer.
