Digital Project Specialist

Do you feel called to use your skills and expertise in digital projects for the release of children from poverty in Jesus' name? We are looking for a Digital Projects Specialist for a 1-year maternity cover contract or on the return of the post holder.

Position: Digital Project Specialist

Location: Fleet, Hampshire - Office based with flexible working

Salary: GBP28,100 pa (within the grade GBP28,100 to GBP34,000 pa)

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:00

Contract: 1-year maternity cover contract or on the return of the post holder

Benefits: Enhanced pension scheme with 10% employer contribution, equivalent of 5 normal working weeks' annual leave a year, plus normal bank holidays, Dental Insurance, Income Protection and Group Life cover on appointment.

About the Role

As Digital Project Specialist, you will draw on your knowledge and experience in managing multiple projects that aim to exceed supporters' expectations and supports the goal of providing a digital first solution. By demonstrating your passion, flare and eye for detail, you will deliver an excellent user experience across all digital product whilst collaborating with others internally and externally.

Responsibilities include:

Actively maintain and promote the charity's Christian ethos and values
Effectively manage digital projects of varying size and complexity
Deliver an excellent user experience across digital products
Collaborate with other departments and work with external suppliers
Manage ongoing support and updates, including content edits and issue fixes
Assist with the long-term digital transformation aspirations and goals

About You

To flourish in the role of Digital Project Specialist, you'll need:

Digital projects experience managing multiple digital projects from requirement gathering to successful delivery.
Experience working as part of an Agile team.
A passion for digital design and eye for detail
An understanding of web development
Website editing skills
Core office/administrative skills

It would help (but isn't essential) to have:

Relevant digital qualifications: A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant digital subject
Charity experience
Frontend UX/UI experience
A working knowledge of Office365 (including Planner and SharePoint), Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Analytics, InVision, CRM systems and project management tools such as Trello.
