Care Home Manager - Elderly - Swansea Area - competitive salary
Your new company
My client owns a number of EMI Care Homes in the South Wales area and is currently looking to recruit for a Care Home manager to work alongside and experienced and supportive clinical lead.
Your new role
The home provides nursing care and personal care up to 35 bed occupancy situated in a residential suburb. They pride themselves on treating people with dignity and respect where choice and independence is promoted. There is plenty of provision of activities for people to ensure that they have the opportunity to engage with one another.
Overseeing the daily running of the home
Establish deep and meaningful relationships with the residents and their families
Ensure all care plans are up to date
Providing Leadership to all the staff members
Managing all the safeguarding in the home
What you'll need to succeed
QCF Level 5 or equivalent
Commitment to delivering high quality care
Previous managerial experience in a similar environment
Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards
Fine tuned decision making skills
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Flexibility and strong "can do" attitude
