Laminating Cell Leader
We are currently recruiting for a Cell Leader, Laminating at our Wellingborough site, to support the Laminating Supervisor in managing day to day a team of laminators, ensuring 100% plan adherence and the highest level of quality produced on a day to day.
This is a key role within the laminating department, assisting the laminating supervisor with the smooth running, ongoing training, drive to bottom out scrap rates and reduce ongoing quality issues. Responsible for managing, motivating and training the cell so they are working to the best of their ability and meeting the company expectations.
Laminating Cell Leader Responsibilities:
• Responsible for checking off first plies for allocated operatives.
• Responsible for checking off bags before loading into autoclave for allocated operatives.
• Responsible for ensuring all paperwork is completed by allocated operatives.
• Be present for the hand over, from Brackley of new parts allocated to your cell.
• Any issues arising from new jobs (kit, manual, hardware needed etc.) to be highlighted to laminating supervisor immediately.
• Roll out to rest of cell as and where appropriate training/information about these new parts.
• Record progress of jobs, on the department daily job sheet electronically.
Laminating Cell Leader Requirements:
• Experience of laminating in a production environment
• Strong team player. An effectively team worker alongside the Laminating Supervisor to provide the right guidance and support for his cell.
• Encouraging performance through the time and effort spent with individuals
• Excellent process adherence - understanding the importance of process and that if followed the outcome will be right
• Good people management skills
• Committed and hard working
• Working to the highest levels of performance
