The Company:
My client is a one of the leading Electrical Wholesalers in the UK. They are looking for an individual who is experienced in Electrical Wholesale as well as managing a team, budget, stock control, sales, distribution and more.
The Role:
•As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the contribution by the branch in line with the business plans and overall company policy and strategy
•Responsible for managing and achieving branch budgets and targets
•Developing strategies for increasing existing business, new business and lapsed accounts
•Providing comprehensive training and development for staff
•Effectively recruiting new staff
•Ensure that your team meet operational standards Ensure that the branch operates efficiently and to high standards
•Manage and develop a small branch team
•Work closely with the branch team and local tradespeople to identify and develop sales opportunities
•Manage, support and guide trade counter assistants / drivers, ensuring that the branch tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
•Identifying improvement opportunities
•Promote our expanding product range
•Driving customer sales and maximising margins
•Quickly resolve any customer issues
•Provide customers with information such as stock availability, pricing and lead times
•Responsible for the Trade Counter you will deliver the highest customer service, help customers choose the correct products and build strong customer relationships.
•Estimating and quoting
The Person:
•Confident working with key performance indicators with an impressive track record in delivering on sales, profit and margin targets
•Ability to motivate your team and lead by example
•The experience to be able to communicate at all levels, whether it be with your team or negotiating with your customer
•Have the business mind to make commercial decisions in-line with the Senior Management Team
•Must have a proven track record working within the electrical wholesale market
•Dynamic, good sense of humour with a passion for the electrical wholesale industry
