Senior Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical)
You will contribute to our success by leading on installations of our products, liaising with our R&D department with regards to specifications of new installations and ensuring that all UK and international installations conform to the latest regulations and safety requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Determining specifications and selecting or adapting product designs to meet the
customer requirements
• Managing, checking and signing off system installations
• Maintaining user documentation and technical files
• Technical Support
• Ongoing product development
Desired attributes: You will
• be a chartered engineer or working towards chartered status
• have proven experience in mechanical and electrical engineering
• have experience in the aquaculture, agriculture, marine or offshore industries
• understand the principles of power electronics
• have experience in working with and creating technical files
• be able to review scientific literature to support and improve product designs
• have a history of working successfully as part of a technical team to translate ideas into
products
• have a solid understanding of electrical safety in industrial and marine environments
• have experience in training and developing team members
