I'm currently working alongside a leading business in their recruitment of a credit controller on a 6 month FTC based in North Birmingham paying GBP22k.
As a Credit Controller, your responsibilities will include:
To maximise the collection of debt and ensure remedial solutions are provided to ensure debtor days are reduced in line with targets. Focus on reducing and maintaining overdue debt at acceptable levels, ensuring cash collection targets are also achieved.
* To ensure all customers pay outstanding debt in line with their terms
* Cash collection is maximised
* Cash allocation is regularly reviewed and up-to-date
* Strong stakeholder relationships particularly with commercial and customers are developed and maintained
* Compliance with all relevant legislation and internal controls
As a Credit Controller, you will have/be:
* Substantial experience in credit control in a B2B environment
* Pro-active, responsive and action orientated
* Ability to work in a constantly changing & process challenging environment
* Must have 3 years' experience within collections & credit control
* Deliver to strict & tight guidelines
* Able to maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting deadlines
* Proven track record of achieving KPI's
* Knowledge of our organisation's industry would be an advantage
* Comprehensive knowledge of credit process & procedures is essential, along with ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
* Excellent IT skills including Word/Excel
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic & flexible
* Good organisational skills
* Show passion with 'can do' attitude
