Class 1 Driver in Croydon

Advance your driving career by joining Manpower as a Class 1 driver to work for the Royal Mail Centre in Croydon. Your job will be to help move packets and letters around the country.

The Royal Mail Centre never sleeps, which means we're able to offer a wide range of shifts to suit your other commitments. So, whether you want to work, days, nights, weekends, full weeks or the odd day, we would love to hear from you.

Although you'll be primarily based in Croydon, we're looking for individuals with a flexible, can-do attitude who will be willing to work at other sites in Southern England on occasion.

To maintain Royal Mail's high service levels, you'll be required to follow schedules and itineraries to the letter, requiring attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

You must hold a valid Class 1 driving license and have digital tacho and CPC qualification cards. Ideally you will have at least two year's experience of driving Class 1 vehicles in the UK; however, exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis following discussion. All drivers regardless of length of experience will have to undergo a driving assessment.

Pay will increase after 12 weeks with us and leading up to the Christmas peak from November onwards, further details on this will be discussed when contacted.
