Senior Site Manager - Permanent Role, Inverness
Your new company
You will be working for a leading contractor in the Inverness area as a Senior Site Manager on a permanent basis. This company has a number of projects in the Inverness area and are seeking a Senior Site Manager to come on board to manage an upcoming project.
Your new role
In your new role as a Senior Site Manager you will be responsible for the management of a large commercial project in the Highlands. You will oversee the work of the site team including a Site Foreman, direct and sub-contracted labour. You will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of HSE procedures on site, creation of risk assessments and method statements and delivery of works against an agreed programme and budget.You will also work closely with your Contracts Manager and Quantity Surveyor and chair weekly progress meetings. You will liaise directly with the client when necessary. You will organise labour and materials and ensure that work is completed to a high standard
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role you must have substantial experience of working as a Site Manager or Project Manager where you have delivered projects for the main contractor. You must hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid. Formal construction management qualifications such as a degree or HND are preferred but not essential. Experience of working on projects with a value of upwards of GBP5 Million would be beneficial. You must have strong IT skills and be able to produce HSE documents to a high standard.
