Section Engineer - Rail Infrastructure

James Gray Recruitment are actively seeking Section Engineer in the Inverness area on behalf of one of our key clients who are an established contractor in the civil engineering and rail infrastructure sectors.

What you'll be doing:

• The successful Section Engineer will be working on rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects in Inverness and the North of Scotland;
• Support the management of the daily operations on site and ensure project timescales are met within a safe and accurate fashion,
• Reporting daily to the Site Agent on key aspects of progress issues and concerns,
• Contribute and help to ensure that success throughout all projects is achieved by delivering the programme on time,
• Support Site Engineers on site,
• Any other section engineer duties as required.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Ideally, the candidate will be degree-educated within civil engineering;
• At least 3 years' experience as a Site engineer;
• Previous civil engineering, NEC and Microsoft Project experience is essential;
• Valid CSCS and SMSTS is essential
