Bristol,Gloucester,Somerset and Wiltshire Community Rehabilitation Division (BGSW) is part of the KSS CRC Probation. We provide a broad range of probation services for adult offenders on community orders or licenses. We focus on quality of practice to reduce re-offending, improve the safety of the communities we serve and improve the life chances of those within the Bristol,Gloucester,Somerset and Wiltshire Community Rehabilitation Division (BGSW) is part of the KSS CRC Probation.

The Probation Officer and Criminal Justice Social Worker roles offer the opportunity to work with our most complex service users to develop a detailed understanding of their offending and needs, then deliver on plans to improve their circumstances and behaviour. A strong back ground in risk assessment and the delivery of behaviour change interventions is essential to this role. You will be a leading member of the team utilising your probation officer or social work qualification to develop interventions and lend expertise in managing risk of harm. Our practitioners have the opportunity to work in specialist areas such as domestic abuse, resettlement following custody and female service users.

Starting salary of: GBP30,208 up to GBP37,174 per annum dependent on experience.

Role: Permanent Full time
Hours: This role currently requires you to work Monday to Friday between 8am - 6.00pm 37hrs per week
