Senior/Electrical Engineer
GBP30K - GBP45K + package
Chester
A company with impressive, long-standing track record are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join them. They specialise within the oil and gas sector and work with many established blue chip companies. They are looking for someone with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience and working knowledge of the following:
Design of LV and MV electrical distribution systems including backup power requirements and changeover systems
Design and specification of motor control centres, switch boards and distribution boards for LV & MV systems
Specification of LV & MV soft starts and VSD's
Electrical Field installation design for Oil and Gas Separation Trains and associated systems
Design of PLC panels (based on Siemens S7, PCS 7, Emerson Delta V, Rockwell Control Logics)
Production of GA's, Circuit Schematics, Cable Schedules, Load Lists, Architecture Diagrams, Termination Schedules and BOM's etc.
Good working knowledge of ATEX, IECEx and IS requirements for electrical apparatus in hazardous areas.
Good working knowledge of SIL ratings (an accredited SIL engineer would be preferable)
Preferably degree qualified in a relevant discipline
Ability to liaise with suppliers and clients at various levels.
Production of project documentation using standard MS Office tools and Autocad Electrical
Ability to liaise with certifying authorities such as DNV or BV.
Working to local and global design and quality standards
Experience with cable support systems - tray, basket, trunking, conduit, support channels, etc
