Highly regarded company based near Truro, Cornwall are looking to recruit a permanent Electrical/Electronic Engineer to work in their existing R&D team.
Duties and Responsibilities.1. To carry out electrical/electronic based testing, analysis, development and design of products and equipment.2. To produce drawings, schematics, documentation and reports as necessary.3. To work as part of the R&D Team but also individually as required.4. To manage smaller projects in order to meet time and budget requirements.25. To work cooperatively and provide support as required for all companies in the Group.6. To undertake training and assist in training other member of staff as required.7. To be a positive ambassador of the company at all times.8. To work at all times in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and to follow all company procedures and guidelines which assist this. Whilst working at external sites comply with all on site health and safety procedures and guidelines applicable to that site.9. To work at all times in accordance with the company's Dignity & Diversity Policy.10. To undertake such other duties as may be required within the general scope of the job.
Key Behaviours and Skills
1. Degree in an electrical/electronic discipline or appropriate work experience.2. Knowledge of plumbing, fluid management, renewable energy and/or heating systems would be preferred.3. Excellent communication skills.4. Experience with appropriate software including CAD packages for electrical drafting, schematic capture and PCB layout, as well as MS Office.5.
