Electrical Automation Engineer (FMCG)
Market Drayton (Shropshire)
GBP44,000 - occasional overtime
4 on 4 off days (Occasional Nights to cover holidays)

Due to significant investment and growth, a Market leading company is seeking to bolster its maintenance engineering team with the addition of an Electrical Automation Engineer. This opportunity offers great security and stability. Role Description
* Provide the link between Site Team and MMI Automation Team with respect to maintenance and development of group automation standards.
* Automation obsolescence
* Maintain all automation records and documentation.
* Produce detailed "how to" guides/one point lessons to support maintenance team with common or recurring automation tasks.
* Develop robust and cost effective planned maintenance regime for automation equipment.
* Work with MMI Central Automation Team to continually improve the site system software and hardware structure and design.
* Support the site excellence roadmaps for Quality/H&S/Environmental/Engineering/ Autonomous Maintenance.
* Provide training to Shift Engineers to "up-skill" current knowledge
* Stand in for Plant Manager when he is not available.
* Expert on the CMMS and use historical data to identify improvement initiatives/ fault trending
* Maintain and monitor use of Automation and Electrical systems software and documentation version control systems
* Compliance with Group Electrical and Automation standards of site delivered projects and general improvement works
* Fixed wiring remedial works/reports
* Thermographic remedial works/reports
* Site electrical duty holder
* Emergency Lighting
* RCD testing
* Provide training to Shift Engineers to "up-skill" current knowledge
Skills and Qualifications

* Siemens PLC Statement lists
* SCADA control
* Profinet communication
* 240/415 volt work
* Variable Speed Drives
**Ideal**
* Allen Bradley PLC
* Food/FMCG Experience
* Supervisory Experience
