Pipe Fitter/Fabricator

Work Wales is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our client as a Pipe Fabricator/ Fitter in the Swansea area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the field of pipe fabrication/fitting and an ability to work with carbon, stainless and duplex stainless steel. Candidates with previous experience of working within a manufacturing/engineering environment will also be considered.

Preferred Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Proven track record in the field of pipe fabrication/ fitting
• Ability to work with carbon steel, stainless steel and duplex stainless steel
• Experience of working with a variety of pipe sizes and schedules
• Good knowledge and experience of reading isometric drawings
• Ability to prepare holes for attachments and nozzles
• Ability to work to high tolerance quality specifications
• Proven experience and track record tacking using TIG/MIG
• Proven track record in marking of pipe for drilling and attachments of branches etc
• Should be able to work to schedules with the minimum of supervision
• Experience of using a Hancock gas cutter an advantage
• A flexible approach to all duties and working hours to achieve completion of contracts outside of normal scope of work
