Our client is currently looking to hire for the role of Qualified Accounts Manager on a full time, permanent basis. You will be joining the business as the most Senior Finance Officer of a well established and diversifying company who operate in a fast paced, challenging industry. As the Accounts Manager you will be expected to Manage all the various subsidiaries using Industry bespoke software systems. You will also be asked to manage and mentor of team of 2 other finance individuals within the business.

Role responsibilities included but not limited to:

Timely and accurate production of sales invoices ensuring all chargeable items are accounted for
Daily/weekly issuing of invoices to customers, timed to maximise and control credit limit
Timely inputting of purchase invoices and checking of rates/process
Processing & control of employee expense claims, timely payment of the same and input onto the purchase ledger
Management and production of relevant VAT returns
Timely payment of suppliers, staff and relevant HMRC obligations with the tight control of cash flow
Control and monitoring of overheads and margins to ensure the maximisation of profit
Management of credit control including the timely collection of debts and the close monitoring of payment patterns by account customers
Scrutiny of Trade Account Applications and ensuring if granted that Credit Limits are appropriate and sustainable
Production of accurate and timely management information including creditor and debtor schedules, management accounts to assist the management team in the day to day control of the Company
Bank reconciliations to assist with meaningful cash control
Production of monthly management accounts
Daily/weekly banking of any cheques and reconciliation of credit card transactions
Regular interaction with the Company accountants to ensure the required accounting structures are followed to maximise the efficiency of the overall accounting process

In order to be successful in the role you will need to be a Qualified CIMA or ACCA Accountant, ideally with Accounts Management experience. You will be a solutions orientated individual with the adaptability to juggle a heavy workload.
