User Experience Designer and User Research

GBP25k - GBP35kWe're looking for a delivery focussed leader with experience in UX Design, User Research and Analysis with a desire to input on a transforming business platform based on the customer journey . Someone who knows how to translate qualitative and quantitative user insight to user requirements. Someone who is delivery focussed with a passion for design and analysis.
The role
As the resident authority on UX principles you will lead digital UX and design strategy, ensuring that a first-class digital experience is delivered to all customers. This role sits in the Business Analysis team so you must be able to undertake elements of analysis as well as writing up the UX.
Who you will be
Evaluate the effectiveness of the UX of existing products and make recommendations for improvement
Understand products and user psychology
Ensure all software developments have UX at the heart of their development
Translate concepts into user flows, user journeys, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive UX optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
Contribute to the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products
Identify UX design challenges and devise elegant solutions
Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
Create personas through user research
Find creative ways to solve UX challenges (e.g. usability, findability)
Assist Sales and 3rd line by identifying UX issues, problem solving and delivering an acceptable solution
Deliver quality documentation in accordance with department standards for new product features and redesign of existing features
Participate in user workshops and fora to help shape excellent UX
Knowledge of accessibility and usability standards, different technologies, and UX/CX terminology
