Monday to Friday working hours between 8am and 5.30pm.

Our Bakkavor site in Highbridge, which is one of our four Desserts sites specialises in Cheesecake and Tarts, working closely with our sister site in Devizes that specialise in baked goods.

JOB DETAIL
A fantastic opportunity for a Quality Systems Manager to join the Desserts Highbridge team. You will be responsible for all technical systems, internal audits, legislation and customer requirements.

  • Technical Systems: To manage and develop the Quality Management System across the business, ensuring all the QMS documentation is relevant and controlled and meets the requirements of legislation, industry standards, Bakkavor and Customers. To establish and maintain a process of auditing against the QMS to review compliance.
  • Quality Management System: To establish and maintain a structured review process of industry, customer and business codes of practise. Action plans should be presented to Technical & Operations teams, thus driving continuous improvement and best practice across the business. To ensure the QMS is updated following such

reviews and procedures are updated accordingly

  • Audit: To manage the Internal Audit programme and ensure actions are communicated and closed out within agreed timescales.
  • Communication: To collate all information relating to Food Standards Agency Alerts and Customer Alerts. To communicate such issues to the Technical Management Team and respond in a timely manner.
  • HACCP: To manage the business HACCP teams. To coordinate and document review meetings and ensure all amends and updates are implemented across the appropriate business functions.
  • Audits: To manage BRC and Bakkavor Pillar Audits for the business and communicate as appropriate. To ensure non conformances are closed out within agreed timescales.
