HR Business Partner/ Advisor - Sales & Marketing
Location: Warwickshire
Salary: cGBP28-35,000 + benefits
The HR Function is responsible for partnering with the business to help solve complex organisational challenges, while ensuring we have the right people in the right function, helping us drive results and grow our business. We are currently seeking an HR Business Partner / Advisor for our Client's Commercial organisation. They are part of an international market leading FMCG organisation as such we require candidates with previous experience working within a global landscape
Partnering with Commercial Leaders and provide guidance in the following areas: Succession planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, legal risk/compliance, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programmes, change programmes and strategic development
The Human Resources Business Partner is a customer facing business partner to the management team and employee population.
This position will require significant interaction with all levels of the organisation.
The role:
Ensure you understand the profile of each member of the commercial function including: Performance, L&D needs, industry experience, staffing desires and travel capability etc. Utilise this specific understanding of each employee to inform succession decisions that drive the development of each individual whilst meeting the commercial needs of the business.
Understand clear people priorities and objectives in partnership with the senior leadership team that will support the achievement of the organisation's commercial objectives.
Lead change programmes and subsequent ER work attached to the change
Understand the nature of the Commercial functions disciplines including market trends in remuneration, roles available, engagement and L&D requirements in those technical skills
Provide guidance and input into the development of designated including, capacity planning, technical training programs, diversity of skill set and performance
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues if required, conduct effective, objective and thorough investigations
Put together change management plans and communications when needed.
Communicate company wide programs, initiatives etc to your division in line with the messaging from leadership and provide feedback to group and/or leadership implementing new programs
Be a trusted advisor to the business by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with management and employees and knowing the business inside and out
Drive and support the talent strategy and performance management processes across the business
Drives healthy and positive organisational culture in partnership with business leaders by developing and executing strong human resources strategies.
Implement programs related to talent management, career planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, recognition and organisational development.
Leads and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include roundtables, performance management, individual development planning, annual merit and, bonus processes and benefits
Leads internal and external HR department audit and compliance initiatives, guides and oversees the compliance activities including regulatory reporting, compliance training, department audit processes, record retention management and leave management.
Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions, programs and policies
The person:
Degree in Human Resources or business-related field.
Robust human resources experience, preferably possessing experience with diverse client groups and agility to work with matrixed functional areas and stakeholders.
Business Partnering, ER and Change management experience
Analytical thinking demonstrated by the ability to solve problems using a logical, systematic, and sequential approach to professionally handle employee concerns.
Ability to understand and translate data and trends and develop and operationalise plans that influence changes
Strong collaboration skills with proven ability to build and maintain partnerships and solid working relationships with management and employees.
Customer focus with strong influencing skills.
Strong organisational skills with a bias towards action.
The ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment, embrace change and balance competing priorities.
Effective communication skills including giving group presentations, contributing to teams, as well as one-on-one interactions with stake holders and employees.
Effective written communication skills including the ability to produce professional documents, emails, and presentations that are concise, persuasive, and informative.
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Demonstrated knowledge and use of continuous improvement tools and processes.
Experience using HRIS platforms
Complex Employee Relations experience
Proven strategic thinker and skilled at solving complex business problems
Confidence and strong personal presence - you shake up the status quo, while gaining the respect of both peers and senior management
