Assembly Technician is to work as instructed by the Production Manager in the assembly of the clients range of equipment. Salary GBP17K - GBP18.5K 1 temp role 1 perm role
RESPONSIBILITIES
* To ensure compliance to all quality standards on assembly and sub assembly parts.
* To ensure equipment is ready on time and that deadlines are met.
* Be able to react quickly to changing circumstances in an efficient way.
* To work in a methodical and efficient manner.
* Have an understanding of the production schedules.
* To work with the quality department to help maintain the Quality System
* Support continuous improvement projects (process improvement, downtime reduction etc.) as requested.
* Increase efficiency where possible
* Work closely with the production manager to ensure compliance to the KPI system.
* Ensure work areas are clean, tidy and presentable at all times
* Adherence to HSE principles at all times
