Ward Serving Staff with Cleaning - ongoing
I am looking to recruit 2 candidates for my client based in Chesterfield, who are available to work assisting with the serving of food to patients and domestic duties when required.
This is a temporary position, but will be ongoing for the right candidates.
If successful you will be required to undertake a DBS check (no cost to yourself) but if you have a Standard DBS that has been issued in the last 3 years, this will be an advantage for this position.
You will be required to work over 7 days (shifts can fall on weekends, but the rate of pay will increase on Saturday and Sunday shifts to reflect this).
Shifts available that you could be required to work are:
08.00 am - 14.30 pm
15.00 pm - 20.00 pm
If you prefer a particular shift, days or afternoons - this could be considered
Duties with the serving will include:
* Checking food temperatures
* Serving meals and beverages (customer service skills are required)
* Clearing up after service
* Working within a team and set time frame for serving meals
* Basic Food Hygiene certificate is an advantage along with a food background, but not essential
Duties on the domestics department could involve:
* Cleaning to an exceptional standard to ensure comply with Health and Safety
* Completing records /charts to show area has been cleaned
* Following strict cleaning policies and procedures
Please Note:
- Applicants MUST have some previous Catering / Serving / Domestic experience in and be willing to undertake a DBS check.
- These positions are based in a health care environment, so if you fall into the governments guidelines for vulnerable health conditions including Asthma, this position may not be suited to you.
