Sue Ross Legal are proud to be working with one of Sheffield's most established law firms in the recruitment of a Contentious Probate Fee Earner.

Our client would ideally be looking for a qualified Solicitor but will also consider qualified Legal Executives or highly experienced Paralegals who have the required experience.

You will be joining a highly respected Private Client team and will be tasked with handling your own mixed caseload of contentious probate matters, supporting the Head of Department and assisting with the development of the department.

Duties will include;

* Handling a mixed caseload of contentious matters including contesting the validity of wills, Inheritance Act claims, Trust and Estate disputes, Power of Attorney disputes and Court of Protection work

* Acting for both claimant and defendant clients

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have experience of handling and managing a contentious probate and trusts caseload, you should also possess a working knowledge of contentious Court of Protection work.

Other requirements;

* It would be advantageous if you are working towards ACTAPS membership

* You should have experience working with high net worth and elderly clients

* The ability to communicate with clients at all levels

* An ability to prioritise workloads to ensure adherence to set deadlines
