A unique opportunity has arisen with our Legal 500 client for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor. This is a great opportunity to join a firm who is growing and has a brilliant presence nationwide.
Due to the business of the department, the team are looking for someone to join their hugely successful firm, manage their own caseload and clients, assist on larger cases, along with contributing to the department's continuous expansion.
Areas of Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution the firm deal with include:
Shareholder disputes and deadlocked companies
Directors' liability - misfeasance and misconduct claims
Commercial contract disputes
Partnership
Professional negligence claims
Representing tenants in disputes with landlords and vice versa
Party wall disputes and basement extensions
The ideal candidate:
Be newly qualified and have taken a Litigation seat in their training contract
Come from a well-regarded firm
Experience of managing a busy, mixed caseload
Experience of case preparation
Legal research and legal drafting experience
Business development and networking skills
Demonstrates and develops a high-quality level of technical expertise
Good knowledge of relevant computer programmes e.g. PMS, MS Office suite, CRM
Accuracy and attention to detail
Can manage a number of tasks under pressure and maintain a calm manner at all times
