Teachers - Maths and Humanities

Red Balloon Learner Centre, Cambridge is recruiting for teaching positions for October 2020.

We work with young people aged 11 to 18 who have been severely bullied and/or experience high levels of anxiety about attending school. We provide a safe environment with clear boundaries for behaviour, and an individual full-time academic, pastoral and therapeutic programme. Once students have regained their confidence and are able to cope academically and socially, we support their return to mainstream school or college or into employment. It is important that the jobholder concurs with this aim.

The following teaching opportunities are currently available;

Teacher of Humanities - full time (based on 40 hours a week) or job share.

Teacher of Maths - full time (based on 40 hours a week) or job share.

Salary from £21,864 depending on experience.

Applicants must be comfortable with both online and in person teaching.

CLOSING DATE for applications is 8th October 2020 at 5pm. Interviews will be held between 14th to 16th October. Shortlisted applicants will be notified on 9th October and will be invited to prepare two lesson plans for presentation to the panel.
