Welder

Titan are currently working with a major manufacturing company based just outside of Glasgow to recruit an experienced Welder to join their team.

We we would like to hear from experienced welders with a recognised apprenticeship or relevant technical qualification who have operational knowledge of welding & fabrication equipment to carry out the following duties
• Weld MMA, MIG, TIG, gas / oxygen acetylene • Burn plasma, ARC, oxygen / propane. Profile burning • Mark off and drilling operations • Crane operation, lifting and slinging of materials • Operate de-burring equipment • Load and move materials to work area using approved safe methods • Read and interpret engineering data and drawings. Punching of rack and track operations •All tasks on fabrication of sub assembly parts and beam build•Maintain machinery and parts to ensure equipment remains in optical operating condition • Regularly clean and inspect tools and equipment for reliability and usability
