We are recruiting a Lead Software Engineer to work with a multi-national, industry leading cyber security / defence company in Cheltenham / Gloucester.
WHAT WILL THE LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER BE DOING?
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will design and deliver packages of bespoke work, lead agile development teams and liaise with our customers. You will work through the entire software development life cycle from requirements capture to R&D, implementation to automation.
If you're interested in working with emerging technologies such as machine learning, data science and AWS, we'll help you cross train into these areas to ensure you can be at the forefront of technology.
WE NEED THE LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER TO HAVE???.
Java Development
Technical Leadership
A desire to learn a broad range of Java technologies
Current DV Clearance
Experience / Knowledge of automationIT WOULD BE NICE FOR THE LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER TO HAVE???.
Cloud based experience
Microservice architecture or server-less architecture
Big Data / Messaging technologies such as Apache Nifi / MiNiFi / Kafka
