Our client is currently looking to recruit a Specialist Transport Team Leader / Coordinator on a 3 month initial contract to coordinate the specialised transport services provided by both a in house and external transport fleet.
You will ensure passenger vehicles are to the required condition and to oversee the coordination of transport arrangements referred by Adult and Children's Services. This will include organising internal services or procuring external providers to support the services ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to.
You will ensure suppliers are compliant, manage a team of operational staff and support with budget management.
The ideal candidate will have past experience in a similar transport management and coordination role with an understanding of SEN, health and safety standard, vehicle maintenance standards, transport contract management and stakeholder management. Strong leadership and communication skills are a must for this role.

GBP19.62 PAYE + Accrued Holiday Pay
GBP24.00 per hour umbrella
