We are currently looking for an experienced PA to join a very friendly and faith driven school environment. The successful candidate will adhere to school policies and preferably hold a fully updated enhanced DBS Certificate and have SIMS experience.

To act as Personal Assistant to the SLT and to carry out the private and confidential duties as assigned.
Administering the SLT scheduling diaries efficiently
Taking the initiative to schedule or reschedule meetings when necessary
Acting as a buffer/filter to incoming contacts and diverting actions to subordinates/specialists
Acting as a filter for incoming mail, taking the initiative to deal with certain correspondence and diverting other correspondence to others where appropriate.
To be self-motivating and self-organised to identify priorities with an ability to organise work tasks efficiently.
To be pro-active in undertaking any task in the absence of a member of the SLT that the PA feels is necessary for the smooth-running of the SLT offices and the school as a whole, liaising with other SLT as necessary.
To follow Local authority admissions procedures to ensure the timely transition of pupils and pupil files, completion of all related paperwork and to ensure that an accurate record is maintained on the SIMS database.
Assist in the coordination and preparation of meetings, including research and supplying background information, preparation of agenda and all reports, attend designated meetings and take minutes where necessary.
To take the initiative to process data into a format which can be easily used by the SLT, Governors, Leadership Team and other Agencies, e.g. OFSTED.
To use the SIMS system to keep a record of staff absence and provide accurate reports of absence.
To undertake any other duties as requested by the SLT

Hours: Flexible between 8am-5pm (will require two late evenings per week)
