Job Title: Lettings Administrator

Location: Hove

Salary: GBP18k-GBP20k pa with commission paid at GBP50 for every successful Let that the teams moves in.

Full time, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Our client is looking to recruit a Lettings Administrator. You will be dealing with the day-to-day requirements of the busy estate & letting agent.

This includes registering applicants, making appointments, liaising with contractors, tenants and landlords on reported maintenance issues, property inspections on rental properties and administration for tenancies. It will also have the key role in the company's social media and PR strategy.

This role will be working in direct partnership with the Senior Negotiator and Managing Director where planning and operations will be a real team effort.

Responsibilities

Registration of applicants
Arranging viewings
Valuation enquiries and bookings - finding comparable profiles
General reception duties/transferring calls
Property checks
Arranging maintenance
Signing out keys and chasing them in
Contractor management
Property management - responsibility for all maintenance and property checks for managed portfolio of properties. Arranging timely property checks, reporting back to landlords and tenants.
Liaising with contractors and landlords for general maintenance and improvement works where needed and processing invoices
Assisting Senior Negotiator with move in's, checkouts and deposit returns
Overseeing reception duties, marketing documents and window changes, ensuring profiles are all up to date
Adding properties to CFP
Confirming of viewings with applicants and tenants for next day
Ensuring all file notes and history log for each property is kept up to date
Networking for the business where needed
Generating inventories and attending check ins where needed
Attending training courses when required
Reward Card implementation
Social media planning for the company
PR planning and implementation
Charity events planning
Website and portal updating
Lead generation and touting for new landlords
Valuations and viewings for sales and lettings when Senior Neg is unavailable.
Assisting the senior negotiator in paying rents
Working with the MD and senior negotiator to ensure the lettings and sales department hits their targets

Requirements

The role will suit an energetic, well organised person with experience in the property sector desirable. It is also expected that the employee will study and achieve the ARLA Technical award.
Must hold a clean driving license.
The desire for career progression within the company is essential.

Commission paid at GBP50 for every successful let that the teams moves in. commission is also payable for assists with sales and leads to PF but this is on an individual basis, but approx.
