We are Hiring! Due to continued growth we are recruiting for Production Operatives to join the Teams based at our Grandstand and Yazor Road sites, Hereford, with immediate starts.

Working Hours: 0 Mon-Fri &1 Mon-Fri rotating shifts

Hourly rate: GBP 9.28 to GBP9.33 per hour, plus additional shift premium

Experience within the food manufacturing industry isn't essential as full training will be provided.

Purpose of the role

As an integral member of the Production team you will enable your lines and the rest of the site to meet different customer's needs to the required quality and safety standards for Avara Foods.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Understanding and attainment of both individual and department targets.
• Carry out all duties in line with customer specifications and requirements.
• Carry out all duties in line with bird welfare, food legislation, customer specifications and requirements.
• Co-operate in the continuous improvement of Avara Foods quality, safety and productivity standards.
• To meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team.
• Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines
• To carry out instructions as given to you by your Team Leader/Management
• Manual handling of plant and equipment.

What we are looking for

• Functional skills in English and Maths.
• Proven experience within a production/manufacturing setting showing an understanding of a fastmoving process.
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate with all levels of staff.
• Good attention to detail.
