PHP Developer Remote UK
Central Employment are working with a leading bespoke software development house. They are looking for a new developer to join the team who is happy to work with both the client and internal development team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation building fully bespoke systems. Ideally, I'm looking for depth of experience in PHP and previous history working in a development house setting.
We are looking for developers who are looking to bring suggestions to the table for improvement in working practicices or efficiences.
You will be responsible for your own projects as well as working with other team members, this will include organising your time to ensure all project timelines are met and within original project parameters.
The Person
- 2 Years + in an Agency or product development environment.
- Experience managing multiple projects within a team
- A solid understanding of Version Control Systems
- A solid understanding of Agile methodologies
The Tech (some of the following)
- Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of PHP
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of SQL
- Demonstrable experience with Object Oriented Programming
- Demonstrable experience of Laravel
- Demonstrable experience of React/Vue/Angular
Bonus if you have
- Mobile App development using Web technologies i.e. Ionic, React Native.
- Experience managing and provisioning servers (using AWS, Linode etc.)
- Agile methodology i.e. SCRUM or Kanban.
- A good understanding of JavaScript frameworks i.e. Angular, React, Vue.
