Architectural Technologist

We are working with a growing Architectural designer to recruit an experienced Architectural Technologist into their team. Projects range from small to large scale residential developments so experience within the residential sector is a must. Successful applicants will be asked to submit a portfolio.

Duties:
Working on small- and large-scale developments
Undertaking measured building surveys
Producing both planning and technical building regulation drawings
Attend client and consultant meetings
Liaising with local authorities when required
Provide structural and technical advice to clients

Experience required:
Able to complete technical drawing packages
Full understanding of building regulations
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
Experience with AutoCAD 3D and other design programmes would be beneficial (SketchUp etc...)
Full understanding of local and national planning policies with experience of undertaking planning drawings/applications
To be able to write supporting planning statements and other word documents where required
Architectural Degree preferable however relevant experience will be considered
Must have experience of working within residential sector
