Branch Manager
40 Hours Per Week
This is an exciting career opportunity - Kent Blaxill is a long established independent builders' merchant with specialist decorating branches located throughout the east of England, offering a fantastic opportunity to manage and build a successful branch.
Leading and developing a team, you will manage and motivate the team to achieve branch and company objectives which includes performance reviews, appraisals and disciplinary meetings. Gaining up-to-date knowledge of area developments and competitor activity, you will create, manage and develop a branch business plan and work with Management to agree the branch budget. Developing sales to agreed levels, through new and existing business, you will pro-actively market the business for the branch and control and where possible reduce costs by managing stock to agreed levels.
Delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, you will deal with customer queries, projects and complaints in a prompt and effective manner, consistently meeting customer requirements. You will build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, merchandisers and other partners and organise events and initiatives to promote good relations and sales development.
You will need a sound knowledge of the decorating industry with the tenacity to deliver objectives and achieve targets. You must also have the ability to identify new market and product opportunities and provide excellent customer service in accordance with our Customer Charter. This will require good communication both internally and externally
