We have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Wed Designer to work for one of our clients based in Aston Birmingham.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
* Experience in building and maintaining websites
* Be able to develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives for the brand.
* Be proficient in the use of coding to build websites, have experience in using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Wordpress.
* Have knowledge of SEO and how to implement this into a website
* Be familiar with e-commerce markets i.e. Shopify
* Be able to plan, create and implement long and short term marketing strategies
* To help design and plan social media campaigns.
* Be able to analyse website analytics to target specific customer groups to maximise sales
* Be able to suggest creative ways to market new products
* Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, and be able to tailor websites to be mobile-friendly
Skills which are desirable but not essential:
* Digital retouching and image editing
* A passion for marketing and design
Standard skills which are required;
* Excellent time keeping skills
* Excellent IT skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage workloads autonomously
* Have effective problem-solving skills and communicating with people at all levels both verbally and in writing
* Strong people skills which will allow you to work productively with colleagues across the company
* Be methodical in your approach to research and development
* Be able to respond to feedback and implement changes where needed.
